To All,

I recently acquired an IBM ThinkPad T30 and the CD RW/DVD-ROM UlltraBay 200 unit does not always spin up. Sometimes it does, most of the time it just sits there with Windows Explorer just hanging.

I am running Win2K, all the recent updates from Bill and and the updates from IBM Lenovo including the latest CD firmware update.

I think the CD unit is bad. Any other thoughts?
