http://www.senko.com/automotive/feat...o/magical.html - right side tab has some installation procedures.
http://www.stickercity.com/store/home.php?cat=2299

lcd taking apart, and just taking off the upper part of the base involving disconnecting keyboard. no need to remove heatsink or optical drive.

standard procedures:
1. remove battery, press power button for 30 seconds (my take to make sure that all "extra" statics are gone)
2. remove wifi,
3. remove hard drive
4. remove all bottom screws
5. remove power strip
6. remove lcd - taking apart
7. remove keyboard
8. remove heatsink cover
9. remove the top part
10. instructions on site as how to apply the vinyl, i did not even have to use hair drier, just lots of water, make it really wet , u can pull (stretch) around the corner

i did not have to wait for more than 10 minutes to put it all back, just make sure that it is dry (to prevent elec-short). u can always press out bubbles even after re.assemble laptop.

the original lines:
- i use a credit card to "crease" along to keep the original shape
- i picked a pin hole at the edge of the "e" emblem - for air escape - and then use my finger to edge the emblem back on
- same thing with the keyboard area
- a good razor or x-acto knife is a must

time needed: 2-3 hours max

did u know that u can use the temporary body tattoo to make designs on ur laptop? These "tattoo" can be removed anytime without harming the laptop where they were being applied. Leaving them alone, they can last for weeks. If u want them to last much longer, u might want to think a bout getting a clear protective film/folio to cover them
This is great for applying lid themes
