Looking for some advice/help from a converter

So, I've decided to come over to the world of Apple after being a PC guy my whole life. My PC-only needs have died down in recent years, and with the ability to still boot Windows on the Macbook Pros, I still have that safety net available. My Macbook should be in town next week, and I'm looking for any tips/tricks/advice you all would give to someone just entering the OS X world. Thanks!

Start with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, add a new wallet, and top it all off with a nice pair of shoes.

You never want your laptop to look better than you do.

I'm not a downer, I set you up with a nery nice look.

Get this stuff. Some of it is free, some isn't, but since more than a few Mac users are thieves you can probably get that stuff p2p.

Anacron
Spotless
CopyPaste
LaunchBar
Listen to this.
WindowShade
Jack
AppleScript is your friend, start here.
Once you get some free scripts go here.
Turn on your firewall.
I know coming coming from XP you want things to be hard, but they aren't use it and use it well. You're paying a very high price for today so don't waste it.

Thanks! I was referring more to the other guys as the downer, heh. And you are right, I will probably "want" things to be hard so it will be an adjustment.
