Memory Leak Problem of Intel Wireless driver

Thread Starter
I installed the latest Intel Wireless driver for Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and found that there is huge memory leak problem.

Some people talk about it:

The process S24EvMon keeps growing to use over >500MB memory.

The new driver is suppose to fix the security problem for the previous driver. I tried to end the process but I got disconnected after that..

Any solution?

"This file commonly is shipped with laptops or desktops that have two intel network cards. For example the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 LAN MiniPCI Adapter uses an Intel-developed MAC, TI/Symbol/Intel baseband chip. Likewise, s24evmon.exe allows symbol based wireless cards to bridge with 10/100baseT Ethernet cards so that you can use both at the same time. s24evmon.exe is software that will act as a bridge and will help you use both wireless and ethernet at the same time. s24evmon.exe helps when you are on ethernet and suddenly happen to also go wireless at the same time. If you dont need it remove"

i recommend stopping this process from start-up (services or start-up config) and leave the handling of wireless to windows zero configuration

cheers ...
