Keyboard Needed - Sony PN: 1-477-580-21

Thread Starter
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good (e.g. cheap) vendor for a keyboard for a PCG-GRZ530. This uses same KB as GRZ600-660 I believe.

If anyone also has a used, working, good condition they would be willing to part with on Ebay, I would be willing to purchase thru paypal.

Retail on this is around $120, factory direct around $80. Would be willing to pay around $20 for a pulled part.

Our parts vendor does not have stock, and they want $135 for this keyboard not including shipping.

Any help would be appreciated!

Mwah!

part numbers
147758021 or 1-477-580-21

I know this is a very old post but I'd like to find out if you were correct about the 147758021 being the same for the models you mentioned. I have the same Part # in my GRZ660. I'm confused about whether the model number is significant or not. My model # is N860 7619 T101. There are plenty of the Part #s on eBay but they have different Model #s. Thanks.

On ebay.com I saw this # 250419569062 that corresponds to both the part number and your model number. I also see no difference with the part that I submitted in a link earlier to you.

(ouch - you dug up a no-response post from Michelle ... @ Michelle: I claim ignorance of the time frame, and not the ignoring part )

cheers ...

Thank you, qhn, you're great. Yes, that's from the Seller whose link yu posted in the other thread. As I posted there, it's a lot more $ and I do need to save money! If all I need is the Part #, off I go! Are posilutely, absotively sure??

:-) Sure is sure, absolutement is an oxymoron of surety Good lucks. Be careful when pulling (and putting back) the ribbon cable away from the board, if you have to force it, you are doing something wrong.

So Right

Do you mean absolution as in "airplane food?"

I contacted Sony to ask this question. The response? "You must send the unit in for repair." What a joke.

Here are two compatibility lists for the 147758021:

Thank you again, qhn. I almost fell for this ruse.

One must wonder why the need of such a large difference in price

Absolutely/absolutement/absolut/posilutely/absotively and absolution-y crazy ...
