Gateway MX315 recovery discs

My backup recovery discs won't work properly. They skip the splash screen giving that gives the option to recover or factory reset drive. the first disc loads then asks for second. then the second disc asks for the first, on and on and on. there is the "D" drive back up but I am unsure of how to recover from it. Since my splash screen will not load, I'm sent right back to disc 1 disk 2 Hell. This is my first post, my first forum to participate, and you are dealing with a level 4 of 10 on computer skills. Can anyone help! By the way, my 1 year warranty period is over and Gateway owners know how the "Customer Service" is. Thanks
