Yeah I think its nickel cadium batteries that need to discharge close to the end. Lithium batteries dont need to fully discharge. I've heard that the only reason to fully discharge the battery is to recalibrate the battery charge level indicator.
Im not planing on updating yet, have any of you who have updated also notice your gpu's downclocking????
AEmiro that must suck if your an avid gamer. Did you revert without any problem or just stick with it? (lower heat and maybe 3-4 fps drop?)

Bah, my 5672 won't start anymore. I mean, Win XP doesn't wanna start at all.
At first, it said that ntoskrnl.exe was missing and now it goes straight to a command prompt (C:\).
I'm trying a recovery but I'm sure it's not gonna work.
I wonder if this has something to do with the bios update I did...
I guess I'm gonna have to re-install everything...*SIGH*
Can I downgrade the bios to the original version without any risk?

edit: I managed to make Windows start (I used bootcfg) but it's sloooooooooooooow. I mean it takes like 5 minutes to load! Could it be the hard drive being an a**?

couple of quick questions, do you guys usually flash from windows, or do you boot from cd? haven't checked but does the board allow booting from a usb drive?

also does the 5672wlmi indeed support core2duo's? if so where can i find out which are compatible? i definately wouldn't mind ditching the stock t2300 for something quicker.

definately going to go 2gb soon, games like bf2 have to be run on the lowest settings due to low ram, i think i could bump visual quality quite a bit if i had more memory, that is the case on my desktop at least.

the windows flash seemed ok. Im sure there is some safeguard for bad flash's

btw the core2duo prices havent dropped yet but are too soon i hear.


Also remove the plastic flap that blocks the fan from the factory.
