First Major Ubuntu Snafu?

Woke up this morning and let the xorg-core update go through. Boot my machine at work and X is dead. Fortunately a dist-upgrade reinstalled X for me and fixed the issue.

I've never seen a screwup this big since I started using ubuntu back in the hoary days. I'm guessing there's gonna be a ton of people freaking out.

It's been all of the news... just one of those things... everyone makes a mistake now and then. Oh well... I think it may all be fixed now though.
