5760 slow boot time

hey guys, i just have a quick question:

Is it just me or is the sager 5760 have a really long boot time. what i mean is it's not slow on when windows is loading up all my drivers and all my background services, that part is just fine and i've used bootvis. my problem is the time after the sager logo appears and the part where the windows loading bar appears, and in between those two screens, i have like a 20 second delay where the computer seems to be doing nothing. any suggestions?

Are you connected to either a network drive or external USB/IEEE-1394 devices?

no i'm not connected to anything... i also disabled all my bootup sequence and just leaving the hardrive as my first boot device.

I don't notice my boot up time to be all that long...alot of times though I just use standby and it comes out of that in a snap! I'll have to count how many blue scroll bars it takes at the XP load screen for comparison.

forgot to add (and can't edit) what are your specs? I know they are generally the same sometimes one small difference can mean alot.
