Hi, I have a w340ua and I recently had to install xp on it. Unfortunately now it won't recognise the Ethernet controller so I can't get online to update my other drivers. All I need is the correct driver to get it to work but all the drivers I've used so far don't work. Can anyone post the proper driver for the Ethernet controller. Have installed the agere modem driver and that seems to show up in my device manager but cannot set up any connections as it states cannot detect my hardware.


I've spent aaaaaaages scouring the Internet trying to find the correct drivers and I simply cannot find them...


Please help me, I'm desperate to get my laptop working again

Did you install the chipset driver? Did you install the correct LAN driver (Broadcom, nVidia, Intel)?
