My 7900gs is OCed to 520/1100 1.24v

I am using the 91.31 modded xg driver. i8kfangui is off. the nvidia driver icon, dell quickset, microsoft security center, the touch pad, intel wireless pro are all in the quicktask bar. I only manage to get 7418 for 3dmark 05 score.

Or does this mean i have a crappy 7900gs card?

Please help, thanks!

7418 is not that bad for only being OC'ed to 520/550. The people getting over 9000 scores have OC'ed their GS cards to 650/750. My card won't even go that high.

You may have had other unescessary tasks running ?
I found I8Kfangu was working against the BIOS for fan controls and dropped my scores a bit

My T2500 Scored a 7778 in 3DMark05 last night
I have the 7900GS clocked at 490/600 I think lol

I also had problems with i8kfangui costing me a few hundred pts in '05.

Compare with other scores here -> http://www.notebookforums.com/thread157393.html

The 80' series is suppose to be better for overclocking on some picky systems. And XP Pro seems to bring it down a bit too, if you have that.

i restart my computer, then i turn off i8kfangui, then I do the test. Maybe somehow i8kfan is still on? Is that possible?

I compared my scores and people who did only 450/550 get a higher score than me!

Do I have to change my nvidia settings to maximum performance? Right now it's on Quality.

People who OC about 500/550 seem to be getting in the 8K values. That is my goal.

thats not true... I got my scores @ 625/600. In the sig... IMO, get rid of the 91.31's and get the 91.37 drivers from XG. They really helped me out.
