VAIO PCG-F540 Hard drive replacement

Is the hard drive for this laptop hard to find? Is the hard drive a proprietary item or can I buy almost any notebook hard drive for this machine?

It's very easy. When you flip your computer over, the hard drive panel will be on the bottom lower right/below DVD. Unscrew the four screws to remove panel. Next, unscrew the four screws that holds the hard drive in the bracket. With your hands, pull the bracket from left to right and it will come out. If you have any question let me know.
