I9200. Just reinstalled WMP 11 Beta, along with fddshow and Cyberlink DVDplayer. I had eveything working with this stuff installed before. I had what I believe to be an issue with conflicting codecs (video) and was trying to resolve them. This is the reason I had uninstalled WMP11, ffdshow, Cyberlink, WinDVR, WinAMP, etc.
Since I reinstalled WMP11, ffdshow, and Cyberlink (just for the DVD codec so WMP11 can play them),the Windows volume icon in the taskbar doesn't load at startup, and the Fn & front media keys don't raise/lower the volume.

I can go into Settings to retrieve the Windows volume panel, and the sliders work.
I have "Show icon in Taskbar" checked in the settings for audio.
I have Dell Quickset installed, and the volume bar appears when I hit any of the appropriate media keys, but they do not change it.

I reinstalled the drivers for the Sigmatel audio card.
I reinstalled Dell Quickset.

I finally got WMP11 to work for me, and now this. I'm certain that WMP is not the culprit, as I did not have this problem before when it was installed.

Any ideas?
Thanks for looking.
