Re-installed OS - anything missing?

I decided that I wanted to re-install so I did and not sure my wireless is working. I used to have an icon in the taskbar that allowed me to via the wireless status but after re-install I haven't got this

The below image is what I've installed, should there be any other drivers I'm missing or have I installed something I shouldn't? Device manager doesn't show any unknown devices.

Thanks
LL

If the icon on the taskbar that you are refering to looked like 2 computers connected to each other, it is the Windows Networking Icon.

Right Click Network> Properties> Right Click the Wireless Adapter > Properties > Put check on Show Icon at the bottom

Thanks but thats not the icon I was meaning. I cant quote remember it but it was to do with the wireless adapter, and it had an X through it when there was no wireless devices in range. Think it was something to do with Intel ProSet wireless

from the start menu, go to settings and then network connections. right click on the wireless network connection and choose properties. on the lower left of the general tab select the option to show icon in notification area when connected.

Goto Control Panel and you will find the Intel Wireless Utility. Double click and open it, should have the option to start when windows starts.

Hmm, don't have Intel Wireless Utility in my Control Panel, what do you need to install to get this ?

Thanks again.

Sorry - I meant Intel ProSet in Control Panel.

If it is in your add/remove, this should be in control Panel.

There is SHOW ICON on Tray at the bottom

Thanks, will check in my add/remove - did remove some stuff that i didnt think i needed, maybe i removed that.

Checking my add/remove programs I now don't have the 802.11b MiniPC Windows XP Driver or the Intel(R) PROSet (got the Intel(R) PRO Network Adapters and Drivers tho)

I'm guessing I need to install the PROSet to get the software I'm thinking of, do I need the MiniPC XP Driver too?

Damn, wish i'd taken a screenshot of the original Add/Remove that the Sentia came with

Also, where can I download the latest Intel PRO/Set drivers utilities as AW UK don't have them available ? Could someone host them for me please?

I found them in the Intel CD that came with my Sentia.
