Atheros 5005 vs Intel 2200

Okay Guys,

I give up. I can't find which is better out of these two, having looked in the 'search forums' thingy. I have the Intel 2200 in my XPS Gen 2 and the Atheros in my cousin-in-law's Acer. Which is the better WiFi card, and will if it's the Atheros, will the Intel 2200 go in the Acer okay?

There is a thread with about 7 jillion posts in it that details the sorrid performance of the 2200 versus the kick-butt Atheros cards. The drivers for the 2200 have gotten a lot better since then, but the Atheros is still the way to go if you have a choice.

They should be interchangeable.
