FN-up and down arrow?

It also helps to use an all black background as your wallpaper. Try going to graphics properties then "Appearence" and changing the background of dialogboxes and menus and stuff to a darker color.

I am curious how you like the program so far. I was thinking about purchasing the program as well but I didn't know how accuarte the maps are. Also, is the program easy to setup? Thanks!

Get Delorme...I have MS Streets and trips (used it for years) and I started using Delorme about 2 1/2 years ago. Their maps are just as good, it's cheaper & has more features, including an auto-rerouting feature if you miss your turn, voice command features (you can actually use a mic and ask it things like "where am I, are we there yet, zoom out 3 times...etc) as well as having voice nav.

I use it everyday in my field.

There is a "night mode" for Streets & trips but I have not used it for so long I could not tell you where to look for it.

I like streets and trips but havent tried the others ones to compare. The things I dont like about it sometimes the directions arent that specific, most of the time it does give you an exit number but sometimes it will just say "turn right on ramp" so you then have to use the distance feature and see ok it says I'm 25 yards from my turn that must be it.

It does not do the auto recalculate you have to hit f3 to reroute. I once used a portable gps that listed your time to your next turn and your time to destination, and it would constantly update that based on your speed. Its a really nice feature I wish streets and trips had.

It is nice as a trip planning software, you enter a start time, stop time and a guestimate of how long you will take breaks and for how long and it will give you a pretty good idea of how far you'll make it in say 8 hours. I've used it to reserve my hotels ahead of time while driving across the country. You can also put in your cars gas mileage and it will mark where you should need gas at. You can also put in how fast you drive, but the stupid part of that feature is it dosnt use mph, like I cant say I do 70 on interstates, I have to click so many clicks above average and I'm really not sure how much each click represents.

I've looked all through its option and have never been able to find a night mode.

yeah DElorme tells you the exit, the exit distance and the time until you get there...ex..it will say "Turn right on exit 214 Baywick Street in 37 seconds, point four miles away"
