Review: Z92T with Turion X2 TL-60 - Page 2

Thats good news on the pata being just as fast in a laptop. The only performance question now is if the 1gb of ram is enough or if I will need to save up to get 2gb. Its Samsung DDR2 PC 5300 at 667mhz. I'm guessing when Windows Vista comes out it will use more memory than XP.

Will the laptop come with all of the latest drivers and settings to run at the optimum speed or did you change some stuff to increase performance? Thanks for the help.

Go for 2 gb as vista prenuim requires like 1 gb min, wich is way to much...

It comes with all the drivers needed to run, i beilve most are the most uptodate. I downloaded an AMD driver - Dual Core optimizer
And The custom made nvidia drivers.

On the 3D mark scores in my siggy i beilve i overclocked my card to 536 / 441 (450/400 sock)

Thanks superkdog, sounds like I'll need more RAM for Vista. If I send back my 1gb of Samsung and pay $125 the seller will send me 2gb of Mushkin RAM. Should I go for that or try and sell my RAM and get something else?

Only had crosshair, curcial and kingston ram in my computers...
But mushkin should work fine, alot of people on newegg seem to of liked it.
I would make sure its PC5300 (667mhz).

What color is the power button when it is on? TBH if it is green that will be my only reason not to buy it, seriously, WHY do manufactures still use old ugly green lights when they cost the same as blue ones.

Can you take pictures of all the lights lit?
