Confirmation order....J/W

Alright, I'm on phase 3 and just got an email called "Your Alienware purchase is almost complete" in the email there is a link to finalize your purchase. Did anybody else get this email either? When I click on the link it takes me back to the configuration screen of choosing my AW parts. Do I have to do this all again? If someone could tell me that'd be great. Thanks in advance. Sorry, AW first timer here.

Lee, did you by chance do a pre-order over the phone and then just order it online? Because I did that just to get things started and I ended up just ordering it online without talking to anyone and I recieved an e-mail like the one you are describing. The rep I talked to even called me back asking if I still wanted to order lol. I was kinda scared for a bit cause I was already in phase 3 as well but then was reminded that it was for the pre-order I had done a day or two b4. Hope that helps =).

No, I ordered it online but I had a problem with my card because it had a limit. So I called the number on the back of my card, got the limit to raise and called Alienware to process the order which they did. And in my bank account, it shows that the purchase is pending. The lady that I talked to said that I should be in phase 3 now if I checked online. Next day I check my email and it tells me to click on a link to complete my order...? Just wondering if anybody else encountered this.

I just checked my email and I also had this happen. On Aug 20 I got the emial saying Your Alienware purchase is almost complete. When I click on Finalize your purchase it says Your system configuration cannot be restored because some of the system components are no longer available. And on Aug 22 I got a email called Alienware Order Confirmation. And the emial says congrats on your purchase and details. I have no idea what the first email means.

This Email was sent to you because you saved a system configuration in the alienware shopping cart. If you go to the site and delete the save you wont get the email anymore.
