Hi, im eagerly awaiting my dv8000t and i ordered it with bluetooth to futureproof myself. Does our bluetooth support stereo headphones for music?(a2dp profile) Can i use a bluetooth mouse and headphones at the same time? Should i just stick to regular wireless for either the mouse or headphones? And finally can you recommend any of these devices that have worked flawlessly for you. Thanks!

Yes, the dv8000t supports A2DP. It is quite easy to get items paired to the notebook. I use my Motorola E815 as a BT DUN to get online when I am not within a hot spot area and I have to get connected to work.

Most of the BT headphones are not as clear as a standard set of wired headphones. Plus, you have to worry about charging up another set of batteries. For the price you are willing to spend on a set of wireless headphones, you will get a much better quality wired units. Remember, it is wireless, so your connection is never guaranteed work flawlessly.

Bluetooth is well... it's sorta hard to explain. It's like a capsule, shaped like a tooth and it always glows blue. Psychics predict that it's going to be a big part of future technology, improving constancy between marriages, headshot rates, and tightening security across our borders to reduce illegal immigrants. You can already experience some of its primitive capabilities in several hardwares offered today. Computer mouse, headphones, notebooks for instance have the bluetooth capsule embedded securely inside them, being invisible to the unaided eye. It allows connections without a data cable (usb, firewire, headphone cords, etc.) meaning its INVISIBLE and unaffected by gravity. Just like remote controls work, you need a battery to power that sucker... sometimes even two batteries. It's not perfect though, but in the future, bluetooth will be replacing your friends, pets, and your eyes for sure. So just like furry is future proofing himself by adding the bluetooth option to his notebook, you should too. Why? you ask. Well it's not really future proofing, it's just so that you'll have options in the future. Think about this situation: You have the bluetooth capsule and you have your bluetooth capable notebook and your bluetooth consuming pet. Obviously if the BT is given to the notebook, the notebook becomes BT enabled, and if given your pet, it will stop listening to you. Your choice. I say get it, it's only $20 dollars. P.S. I'm just joking, but I did explain what BT is... somewhere...

The absolute BEST Bluetooth headphones have to be the I-Phono mini. They're really light and sound great. What's nice is that my Dv2000t does support A2DP stereo profile. Beats those Bulky Motorola and Jensen headphones (which also sound great, just too bulky).

alright so i decided to just go for a bluetooth mouse and still cant make up my mind on a decent one under $50 BUT i did decide to go for these http://www.ltbaudio.com/ltb-usb-m.html , 5.1 surround sound headphones, rated really high on a lot of reviews, and can be had for around $75, a little on the pricey side, but supposed to deliver amazing results
