I just had to bring this story up. As you guys know, I recently sold my e1705 because I built a monster desktop. Long story short, I had my eye on a Dell 24 inch Widescreen Lcd. It had been running for about $700 for 2 weeks. Last night I go to order using my dell account and I kept getting an error to try back later. Today this morning I try again and same thing. I try back one hour later and the price suddenly jumps to $879. I called immediately and got a lady named shane on the line, she said she could not do anything and stated that was the price. I said I could not justify spending $179 extra and basically finished the call. I was about 10 seconds away from completing an order to get a 20 inch samsung, when the same lady called back from dell and she said she spoke to her manager and she was able to get the $700 price honored. Needless to say I now have a 24 inch lcd on its way. Go dell.
