ok i got the second floppy done. lol that was super hard jk. but i cant get the first floppy done because when i try to open fdimage to raw write the disk 1 image, it just closes out right wheni open it???

join the website for Basiclinux and you will get a specific answer for this problem. The man who made this distro (Stephen Darnold) is extremely knowledgeable about Linux (and programming) and will probably answer you specific question himself. He has programmed into the distro "dos" commands that translate to the same Linux commands which helps you learn quicker. This is a great teaching tool for older systems. I browse the web on my older computers with this Linux distro and have learned quite a bit (in my limited time) about Linux.
