I have my eyes on two different laptops. One of them has a Nvidia GEforce GO 7300 and the other has a 7800.

Is there a big difference between the two chipsets??

Yes huge difference. Check out www.gpureview.com under compare on the left. Then u can select both cards side by side and compare their specifications like memory, core, pipes, mem bandwith etc...

But in real world, the 7800 is much much much more powerful than the 7300

LOL The 7300 pwns the 7800. sERIOUSLY, the 7800 murders the 7300.

Thanks for the link.

Now I am wondering: Why on hell does Acer put a 7300 in a 20'1 DTR ??? I mean: if you are going to try to sell a monster, make it REALLY a monster, not a fat kitty or something like that...

Sometimes, fat kittys are all some companies are capable of.

If you're talking about the Acer 9800, the one I saw in the store had a 7600 in it, and I think that's the standard GPU for it. Still seemed underpowered for that monster.

Those things need 7900's standard. Don't know whose idea a 7600 was...
