GPU upgrade - TravelMate Notebook

I am using Acer TravelMate 4021NWLci which I bought 7 months before.
My usage is basically to work on developing applications in .NET and playing movies and games.. but I found that playing higher end games are troublesome

- Will I be able to upgrade the graphics card to Nvidia or ATI in this model ?
Is there any graphics card available in the market that can be fit through notebook computer's PCMCIA slot (like Aver Media's PC Tuner card)

- or increasing the 512MBRAM(that i already have) to 1GB/2GB would help in improving the speed and graphics.

Help would much much appreciated..

No, you can not upgrade your GPU.
An increase in RAM will make your system move a little faster but it wiull not in any way improve video performance.
