Some Acer notebook model like Aspire AS5672WLMi, but with NO HEAT issue?

Someone know a Acer model like the Aspire AS5672WLMi, but that doesn't have HEAT issue?

I have been looking for some cheap AS5672WLMi, I would suggest this model to my friend who is going to buy a notebook of this price range and when I started search for benchmarks, reviews, photos etc... I saw MANY, almost all people saying about the heat issue.

My Gateway M675CS (P4 3.0, ...) "is just in fire" and I would never buy ANYMORE, NEVER, a notebook with issues heat, this "in h3ll fire" Gateway model is enough =/

I would recommend the Dell E1705 (AWESOME), but Dell dissapeared with coupons and then the price is expensive in this case looking for a U$1089 (newegg) and U$899 (compUSA) Acer AS5672WLMi prices.

Thanks

For some its a problem, for me not...
you really should test it before you think its an issue (I know this is easier said then done )

I cant wait till winter rolls around. I'll be out in the middle of a park in shorts with this thing on my lap keeping me warm while people around me are cross country skiing

Lol! Jk, seriously... its not that bad at all. I think its actually about right for how fast this thing is. Even nuclear reactors get a bit on the warm side ya know Just get a laptop cooler and you'll be fine if the temp bothers you.

I would think any laptop with an X1600 inside it is going to get hot. Every year I hear the same thing, people chase after the fastest graphics accelerator and then complain that it gets too hot. This has been going on ever since I bought my NEC six years ago (same story then). To wisely counter this, Acer stuck a 'hurricane of a fan' in the Ferrari 4005. Guess what, everyone then decided to complain about the fan noise!!! You can't win...

You will never get a cool laptop driving a state of the art GPU. Every year the GPU manufacturers push the boundry of whats possible, and every year the laptop manufacturers try to keep up.

EDIT: This review may explain why the e1705 is running cooler;

Well, I know that X1600 is not as cool as the Intel integrated but, It isn't all. There is 7900 notebook running gaming at MAX and It doesn't get hot and you can even heard the coolers, my bro told me about his e1705, plating FEAR, Q4, etc... everything full and any heat problems.

Looking that this Acer is a 15.4" and could be a NICE notebook with X1600 for gaming, if Its ran cool, it would be really awesome notebook with this grt specs.

But like you told... I got a P4 3.0Ghz hot like h3ll... and I have this note for more than 2 years... so this new and better Core Duo with X1600 would never be hoter than my old and fire P4 =/, =).

I just wanted the temps idle/full, cpu and gpu to can imagine.
