Here is a blurb about dual core Dothan chips (mainly for notebooks) hitting the streets, possibly as early as late 2005. One core would be in use when conserving energy. Both in action when your are plugged in.

This is also the first time I have heard them mention the Pentium-M getting the 64-bit support.
