For the most part I like my m6811, except when using iTunes to import music. It seems that converting music cds to mp3s is cpu intensive (rmclock reports cpu running at 2.21 ghz). If I only convert a few tracks I'm alright, but an entire cd causes fan to kick into high speed and then poof the machine goes dead. I would expect this to happen if I was overclocking the machine, but it is running within its specifications. Any possible solutions to this problem with out completely opening up the lappy to reapply thermal goo?
