hey guys i found a speedbooster pci wireless g for $59 at futureshop just wondering if it works great? any problems or warnings about this item? i plan to buy this.

I have the Linksys Wireless G router with speedbooster and got that same card and had a bad signal but I think something might have been wrong cuz I got a new card and the same thing happened. I suggest googling the card and reading reviews. It's what I always do.

Since this is a PCI adapter with a standard fixed length antenna, how one places the computer relative to the router is very important. For instance, if I place the computer under the desk, the signal strength drops to and indicated *Low*. If I push the antenna against the wall, it can even lose the connection. If I bring the computer back up on my desk and turn the computer round so the antenna faces the open, the signal then becomes *Excellent*.
