Question about Asus w3v

I'm about to upgrade the harddrive and i wonder if I will be able to the provided recovery CD to install windows XP on it? (in other word, does Asus include a full copy of WIndows XP or just a hidden partition like Dell)

do you have the original Asus cd's that you got with your lappy ?
of you do, you wont have any problem, just replace the HD and pop in the system CD's ...

W3V comes with a recovery cd. After upgrading a hard drive, you just set it up the optical drive as a 1st bootup device and put the recovery cd in.
Another way you can do is clone the image by Ghost or Acronis from your old hard drive to a new one, then you don't need to install a Windows again.
