Need input on DVB-T cardbus hybrid card as TV tuner.

I found a few places in the US that sell a new hybrid analog and digital TV tuner PCMCIA card bus version. It supposedly will receive terrestial digital HDTV broadcasts but I have yet to find someone that can confirm that it will work in the US.

I am basically interested if the DVB-T part of the tuner really is able to pickup any of our local HDTV signals and let me watch them.

usa = no go, different signal (surprise? why us is big enough to decide its own standard, right? just look at cell phone ...)
europe = yes

DVB= europa, ATSC = usa
