Averatec 1000 series getting too hot

Hello guys

I just bought this laptop http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...=20354&PCName=
i really like it and all but i only have one gripe is that it gets too hot on the bottom. and the fan doesnt seem to turn on for more then a few seconds i tried using speedfan but it doesnt seem to recognize my fan or something, i also tried playing around the bios to find a way to keep the fan turned on but there isnt. i was wondering if anyone else has any other ideas. also last thing i want to talk about is if anyone knows any other programs that can report temperture other then speed fan because it says a temperture of 54deg but it doesnt seem to change while running cpu at100%.

Averatec's are known for running extremley hot. Other than running a notebook cooler there is not much more than can be down.

I would recomend that you look at These Coolers and see which one is intended for your notebook.
