ermm, thats a dell xps gen2......you realize there are still 9300's selling for above that?

1400 sounds like a PERFECTLY good price for it to move fast.....the upgradeability of it alone makes it worth while

if i had 1400 id defnaitly have this as a choice

good luck with the bun in the oven

TO WHO???Who in their right mind would pay 1400 for a Dell 9300???

The Gen 2 is a great model, not sure if this one will allow for the 7800GTX upgrade or if you have to mod the bios but a surewhile upgrade.

I know one guy who has a great deal on his 9300 for about $1500. But that thing is LOADED, 2GB Ram, 7800GTX, tons of extra's, ect ect. This laptop is a bit plain for $1400. Sorry to say, but I would put it at $1200 and see.

BTW- You can upgrade to the 7800GTX really easy in this. And make it have 2GB ram pretty easy too for that matter. (The mod-ablility thing posted in the last 2)

Sid : Couple questions for ya.

1. Does it have any warranty left?

2. Is the ram a 1gb stick or 2-512's?

Thanks man,
Reb

no warranty
but its in beautiful condition, still running the original windows installation
my experience with hardware is that if it has to go bad, it happens early

2x512 sticks
at the time i bought it a 1-gb stick was like $200 more - lol

and thx to all sending their wishes

Dude its not gonna sell at 1400, not threadcrapping thats just the truth...You might get some bites for 1k shipped. Sorry man Best of luck on the father thing, take good care of your child as God takes care of you

You would get 1400 or more easily on eBay... I found that selling here on the forums you get much less than you would there.
