Possible without much effort to change function keys?

Long story short, Sager 5760. Whoever decided that putting the sleep key in between the volume controls should get a nice solid backhand. If I could switch the on/off key on the front to be mute that'd be even better.

Anyway, thanks if anyone has a tool or know what I need to modify to get this thing laid out a bit better.

i hated that keys too, so i use front audio control buttons.
