Restocking Fees

I am buying a area-51 m5550 notebook and I was wondering abut restocking fees. Is that when they run out of a part and to restock they charge you?

Would I have to restock for these specs?

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5600 1.83GHz 2MB Cache 667MHz FSB
512MB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz - 2 x 256MB
100GB Serial ATA 1.5Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ NCQ & 8MB Cache
256MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7600

Thanks.

No...

Restocking fees may be charged if you return the computer for no reason. They have to disassemble the machine and restock the parts. Basically, it covers AW's labor for building your system.

I noticed the new Core 2 processors, the 2.0ghz comes with the 4MB cache which is double the 1.83. These are the conroe version centrinos correct?

Hammer the M5550 just got more interesting, I can get the 2.0ghz Core 2 and still be at 1500 bucks

Yer

So do you think any of the parts will have to be backordered?

Oh yeah, they doubled cache on the higher clocked models.

That is a nice bump up. I like how the prices stayed the same even though we're getting the conroe versions. Is this the merom thing everyone is talking about?

Code name Merom at Intel.

conroe = desktop version Core 2 Duo
merom = mobile version Core 2 Duo
