REORDER!!!! Core 2 Duo's out!!! - Page 2

I'm on the phone right now getting my order changed for one.

EDIT

Just got off the phone Had an extemely nice call with a rep named JC (Ext: 6188). The process to have the order changed took no longer then 5 minutes, he explained to me what I was getting and what it would to do reflect the price and the shipping date. He told me that it would take the order about 2-3 days extra, and that the price would, yes, be cheaper then before. By about 45-50 dollars (Cant complain with that.)

I changed my order from:
Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2500 2.0GHz 2MB Cache 667MHz FSB
To
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7200 2.0GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB

Deffintly a nice and plesent call. He even asked if I would like to place an "urgent" update to have the change processed as fast as possible.

Thumbs up for Alienware

I'm definitely not trolling but...

So in your case we are nottalking about a quaterly upgrade cycle but a Multi decade one!!!!

I'm pretty sure that most of us laptop users, by the time 64 bit apps are a requirement, won't be on the same hardware we are right now, or at least not as our main system. Sooo... no one is really wrong here either way.

Alienware rox, grats on all your new systems!

Stand back everyone this guy is the ONLY one here with "years of experience" and who can read technical reports on the internet! That must automatically give you the right to be a prick eh?

/end sarcasm with witty 1337 typing in which Archalien uses far too much.

Hey Arch, let me know when 80% of PC users are on 64 bit applications, you know, in 6 years. Then we will talk about you "being right".

Who gives a flying fcuk about all the Cleetus and Bertha's from the "Lower Mississippi Trailer Park" getting to the 64 bit party...80%....psssh, this is an AW forum! Windows 95 surfs the net and does email like nobody's business. But most of us here are beyond that, thats why we choose AW, and 64bit will be in full bore swing this time next year!

If u question my prognosticative prowess, go ask the haters at Voodoo how my Bluetooth prediction played out....lol
