Can a GX2 power two WUXGA monitors?

I just bought a bunch of new parts for a new system, and I am debating if I should go with a 30" WQXGA monitor (2560x1600 pixels) of if I should just get two WUXGA monitors which would be a little cheaper. Also, if I did get the two smaller screens, could that graphics card even handle the resolutions needed to display? Thanks in advance

I did a quick and the first two I found both had dual DVI out, so doing two monitors shouldn't be an issue and that thing definitely has the horsepower to do it..

Ok, thats what I wasn't sure of. I know that the graphics card can display resolutions up to 2560x1600, I just didn't know if I could split that up into two monitors that were each 1920x1200. Thanks for the help.

Wouldn't make sense for it to have the two DVI outs and not support the same resolution twice, especially since it's technically two cards put together..
BUT, I'm not 100% positive on that..

Yeah, I finally found it on the Nvidia website. They actually can power two 30" displays. I decided on just getting one 30", as with two 24" monitors I would have a split down the middle of the screen, which would likely get irritating.

lucky guy to afford even the thought of two 30" LCD's...

Generally multiple screens are for the ability to see multiple programs running at the same time. Where I used to work we had Sun Blades with three 19" LCD's, but they were for monitoring a bunch of things that all had to be visible. Funny thing is you can always fill up the screens, no matter how many you have, although two 30"ers would be challenging (and beautiful)

Yeah, I'd rather go 2 x 24" than 1 x 30".

Besides, when gaming, the card could drive the 24" at higher frame rates than the 30".

You can run dual displays but you have to disable SLI. Nvidia SLI can not run dual displays...

I ended up getting the 30" Dell 3007WFP monitor. I got a refurb model and saved $500. Was able to upgrade the warranty to 3 years for $25. I think you can only do that on the 30" monitor, but that is definately a deal. It's so massive, and so beautiful. And it shows black and white 2 in all of its glory. After I get my room organized I'll take a few pictures of my rig and case and post them here
