Can anyone get a good deal on a Pentium M 2GHz or greater, 533MHz FSB, 2MBL2? Can I trade in my 1.73GHz Pentium M?

There is a store on ebay called hypermicrosystems. I gave a best offer of 215.00 for a pentium m 780 and he took it. About 15 bucks for shipping. Don't think that price can be beat.


9300 l Pentium M 780 l 2gb 533 l 6800 Ultra l DVDRW l got stuck with xga+ screen

Yeah but alot had to do with the time frame. I mean with the dual cores, and the 2 Core Duo release has dropped the demand for these chips, within the last few days.

I'll keep up with this thread if you don't mind, as I'm interested on making the exact same trade as you.

Anyone here already made this type of upgrade? Is it easy to be done or technical intervention is required?

Alright seeing as how it looks like I won't be able to sell my notebook I'll do the trade. If you want you can even mail me your notebook and I could do it for you and mail your notebook back to you. I know this may sound like alot, but My rep is perfect on these boards. I would also AS5 everything for you as well, the processor and the videocard.

That's one option, the second option is you basically send me your processor along with a paypal payment or check for 180 and I'll mail you back my processor as soon as I get it. and then you can drop in my processor. Whatever fits the bill.
