Since last November 15th I had my laptop, this lappy has served me really well had minor problems with it but they where solved easily.
The lappy conserning grahics is outstanding been playing BF2, Css, Quake 4, Doom 3, Half-life 2, RoN, AoE 3, ect... No problems what-so-ever playing at full blast and no lagging and sluttering, thanks to Omegadrives they really help.
Conserning Word, Photoshop and other usefull programs they run really smooth and I have no problems with them.
The minor problems which I had where that one day my mother decided to hit my computer becuase I was playing Css at 4am and shouting like mad on teamspeak, there she hit the hard drive and it really broke had loads of broken sectors which was hard to repair and it was easier to buy a new one. I did a visit to acer support in Russia there they said they need 3 weeks to fix the lappy so I decided not to waste my time and bought a new and a better hdd for myself, I really don't know why when I bought the lappy it had 100gb 4200rmp hdd, so I decided to buy a 5400rmp 120gb hdd and on top to change my ram from 1gb to 2gb, now the lappy works like a ferrari no lags what-so-ever and no problems at all. Generally Im happy with my lappy and I find it will be still in good use for another year. People underestimate X700, but I find it really enough for any game I play or any application I run, the X700 256mb is a great, getting around 80~140fps in Css running at full blast.
The only thing which disappoints me that the screen gets dirty really quick, and Im kinda lazy to clean it
