used IBM laptop. good deal?

1.13 ghz PIII
256 mb ram
30 gb hard drive
ac adapter and battery

270$ US

do you guys think that this is a good deal? the company that my dad works for is selling these.

its not a bad deal at all. i have a similar setup (T23) with 1.13 P3, 1gb ram, 30gb 5400rpm, cd-rw/dvd combo.... great computer for all its worth. for under $300 you're getting a nice internet/office machine

I'm just wondering if it will be easy to make a profit off of it once I buy it if I decide that it doesn't have enough power. ..

if you dont do any gaming you'll like it, turning a profit on it....maybe $100 if you get lucky i think...
