GX7 Motherboard

I bought a Aviator Gx7 a while ago and recently broke the part that the power cord plugs into off the motherboard. I sent it in and hypersonic said it will be almost 900 to fix. Anyone know if i can just buy a new motherboard that is the same from somewhere and just install it myself?

The motherboard:
Intel 865PE+ICH5 Chipset Socket 478 Mobile Motherboard (GX)

Hello,

GX7 is identical to the Clevo D870P (the original manufactor). Other namnes are Sager 8790, Nexoc E801, Prostar, Eurocom, Cyper-System, Gericom, Smartbook etc. I am located in Europe and the mainboard sells for about 500 € (625 $) here.
