I have a seagate momentous 7500 sata drive and a hitachi travelstar 7500 sata both 100Gb space on them. under windows 2000, xp and santa fe desktop they read as such. about a week ago i tried to raid 0 them. I went into the bios, set everything up, and when i went under the raid manager (hit the tab key) and tried to configure it into an array it showed a listing of my drives the seagate was at 100.03Gb and the hitachi 0.00Gb. the utillity will let me put them in an array, select the array for boot and view the serial numbers on the drives but will not show the array at anymore than the max size of the min drive (0Gb). ive swaped the locations of the drives and tried them indiviualy for grinns. i have even tried the updated raid drivers but the ones i got from the sager site only work for windows. any ideas?
