How do I hook my laptop up to my stereo?

I have seen people play music off their laptop through their stereo. How does one go about doing this?

I assume:

--Your laptop has a 1.8" stereo plug output

--Your stereo has RCA inputs (a separate plug for each channel)


You'll need to get a converter. You can get one at Radio Shack, etc. for a few bucks.
