wireless help !

I just installed a linkysys wrt54gl. the set up seems to be OK but I cannot connect to wireless from my 1505. the screen for( wireless network found )comes up but when I click on connect nothing happens. I`m sure I have overlooked some basic step , I`m new to laptops and wireless networks.Is there some thing I need to do to the laptop to connect.

I'm having a similar problem with mine. It will connect to my wireless system, but it is very slow to open and close pages. Just got my E1505 2 days ago.

Something you may want to try it to make sure you have enough address open in your router. A while back I was trying to get my sister-in-laws laptop (I gave to her) on my system and I was limited to 4 MAC address' for security reasons. I had forgot I set it up that way.

I had the same problem with my 640m and I have the liksys router too. Someone suggested to change the channel on my router from 6 to 11.
To do this,

1. get your ip address number and type it into your web browser
2. User name and password are admin
3. Click the wireless tab
4. Change channel from whatever it is to 11
5. Save it
6. Restart comp

contacted lynksys support. After some trouble shooting found that the wireless card was disabled. three attemps later and all is well. wireless is working fine on my 1505
