I've been asked to have a look at an advent 7075 to see why it isn't booting.
I suspect bad ram connections, bad hdd, or...
When it is turned on I get the power LED and a couple of flashes of the HDD LED and optical drive access LED as normal.
Nothing appears on the tft, and windows does not appear to load (no hard disk acitivity).
The laptop shuts off if I hold down the power button for 5 seconds.
I appears to reboot ok with ctrl+alt+del signified by the hdd and optical led's flashing a couple of times afterwards.
Any ideas before I try anything/everything?!
