Rebates do come true !!!!!!!!!!!

I actually got my rebate ! I had given up hope long ago ! rebates do come true !!!!!

Ordered JAN 2 -------> rebate showed up Aug 30.


I guess they wanted to wait to see if I'd force feed them my system ! I think the key is to just forget about it and act supprised when you get it. My own personal belief is not to buy with rebates even in mind (since it's just a hook anyway). Just count it later as "found" money and you sleep better.

I haven't invoked an alien dance in a while so here it goes......

Congratulations!

I hope you didn't procrastinate in sending your rebate

Most rebates take anywhere from 6-12 weeks from the time of inception. Perhaps AWs rebate system works with a 32 week turn around

The most important thing is that you received it and now you can spend it on whatever you like

That's good news, CyberP. I have no idea if my rebate for my m5500 (ordered in February) has come yet. I do know it reached the "accepted and in que for payment stage". Guess I'll follow up to see where my $300 is.

BTW - nice to see you around here, and glad the beast is behaving.

The "beast" is behaving quite well with the chip reader exception. That thing is utter crap. But I am very happy with the system still.....
