COSTCO hpdv6058cl?? Help

I have seen that Costco is selling an hp dv6058cl with a $150.00 coupon starting the week of Sept. 8th. The computer has great specs., Turion X2 1.6 ghz, 2GB memory, Nvidia 7200 256MB, 15.4 screen, etc. The processor is a TL-52. Costco also has another DV6000 branded computer with a TL-50 processor and 1GB memory and a 80GB hard drive for 949.99 with no coupon. Which is better for the money. I don't know the exact price of the 6058cl. Is there a huge difference in performance. I think the TL-52 has 2 X 512MB cahce and the TL-50 has 2 X 256MB. What does this mean? Thanks

NVIDIA GC in dv6058cl. Shared or dedicated?

It seems like a great buy. However, I can’t determine if the GC is dedicated or shared.

It is NVIDIA 7200 with 256MB. However, even on the box it said up to 256MB with TurboCache. This would indicate it is shared GC. The dedicated 7200 is rather poor GC and if it is shared, that is even worse.

Anybody knows if it is shared or discrete?

The 7200 is not a graphics power house (but is better than the intel integrated solutions. Performance wise, it is ok with older 3d games, but starts to falter with newer games (have played far cry and fear, far cry is fine, but fear is definitely not running as well as on the ati 1400 series).

But.....the Geforce 7200 does run cool, and with the Turion TL-52 (this one runs at 31w at full load), the notebook stays cooler, and the battery life is improved (the faster Turion x2 cpus use more power than the comparable intel cpus).

I was hoping for at least 128 dedicated + 128 shared. The latest review on Notebookreview.com confirms the 64+192 set up (http://www.notebookreview.com/defaul...ilion+dv6000z).

One thing that I noticed while using the laptop for about 10 minutes in Costco is, that it gets warm and rather quickly at that.

I am in no hurry to buy a laptop now, but the price at Costco is excellent (like $300 less than when configured on hp.com), so that is why I considered it. Maybe Costco will have the dv6000t version with the NVIDIA 7400 soon for similar price. Now that would a keeper.
