Did you actually purchase the WWAN card? It's a $200something option. If you have the card, you can download the drivers from Dell and I assume it will come with a program to connect to the Internet.

No but under bios I have option to turn it on and off plus there is a place to insert the sim card. Do I have to buy the WWAN card to work or this card is totally different?

wow....

research a little bit more about that... you can't just get free service without the hardware or the cellular monthly package

my sim card has GPRS, EDGE and 3G service. So when I use it in my phone I can access internet. My question is do i need addional hardware/softwar to operate it through m1210? just like my phone

Yes you do, all the laptops have the SIM card slot but you also need the hardware inside so that it works. Did you buy the cingular internal aircard when you bought the laptop? If not then it will not work no matter what you do.

I have the 5700 EVDO Express card. I wanted the internal one. It works well though. I will keep the external one. This is the Verison card.
