Can't get native res. for a Olevia 37"

I have a M90 hooked up to my Olevia 37" LCD monitor through the vga hookup. For some reason the max res. I can get is 1280X1024. The native res. should be 1366x768. I used powerstrip and it does nothing. Can someone please help me. Thanks

You may want to go and get yourself an hdmi-dvi adaptor if that doesnt work, the screen is not the 13x7 rez you stated.

1366x768 is the native res. according to the manufacture website. Also other site state it also. I have a dvi to hdmi adapter but can't find my dvi cable. I will have look some more.

Evening,
Make sure you have the latest video driver.
I had the same issue with my Westinhouse 32" HD LCD and it
was resolved when I updated my video driver.

in the display properties go to advanced (where you select the resolution), and then under the monitor properties and uncheck hide modes this monitor can't display, if that doesnt work, also try maybe some drivers from laptopvideo2go, the dell ones kinda suck for custom resolutions, and use the custom resolution add to add the resolution if it doesnt already have it with different drivers.

on PC mode it should be 1360x768 not 1366x768 (in order to retain 1:1 pixel mapping. I would sugtgest using the DVI connection, not an analog VGA connection. That should resolve the issue.

I'm running native 1360 x 768 through the VGA.

It works fine and allows me to use the DVI for the HD cable to my Westi LTV-32w6.

U.N., It's not the port, it's the Olevia monitor. thats why I recommended the DVI connection. I had an Olevia for a week & could not get the thing to work right through the VGA port... The DVI connection worked but the image was less then spectacular. I returned it and got the Viewsonic in my sig.

I use the component in's for my HD cable & use the HDMI on the back for the connection to the DVI port on my laptop. I'm in a corporate hotel & since I've been here so damn long I'm getting spoiled
