OK, i have a slight problem... i have my XPS on my Desk, which is where i store all my music, but i use a Sony desktop as a TV... now i have an extra long AUX cable running around my room to my stereo... normally i have it hooked to my Dell for music, but this means i have to use Sony's kinda rubbish speakers... i have an old set of decent speakers with a sub-woofer... and i have a weird setup trying to get surround sound, but i need something that will allow me to have my laptop AND Sony plugged into something that divides into the one AUX cable so that i don't have to keep pulling the cable out from behind my desk and switch it around... it means moving my BIG desk... real hassle... I'm looking for something that two normal sizes AUX cables (which i have 3 of lol) can plug into one end, while on the other end only one headphone socket it left, for me to plug the huge AUX cable into to go to my stereo... I'm not going to try and use both machines at once... i just want to watch the Simpson's at 6pm then at 6:30 switch to maybe a movie on my dell or blast some beats out... is this possible? some kind of splitter required? i just need to know what to as for in comet? thanks very much for taking the time to look.
