First thing they will probably say is you're using a un-supported OS...
At that point you might point out to them that your machine has stickers? on it that say Vista Compatible?
Second thing (and what I was refering to above) was they will tell you to run a "restore", run the recovery program, either from the hard disc itself, or from the "user" created "recovery disc(s).. that's the standard solution for everything it seems. (can't blame them really)
I told them that I had created the "restore" disc(s) before I deleted the "recovery partition, and that one of the discs had a read error on it, would not work....
You "may" be able to go here to find the PART number of the disc(s) you're needing so you'll have them in front of you to confirm you're going to be sent the right discs.
