Has anyone tried connecting a 9750 to a 5.1 surround sound amp via the 9750's s/pdif out? I'm trying it and getting some odd results.
When realtek is set to 2 speakers it works fine. I get good quality sound from the left and right speakers. I do the speaker auto test in the speaker configuration tab and get sound from both speaks. But when I set it to 6ch speaker I only get sound when the front speaks play, nothing when the rear, center, or woofer play. Anyone know why I can't get 5.1 sound via the sp/dif out?
This is also the same result you get when trying to get 5.1 sound from the internal speakers in the laptop.
I downloaded the A3.92 version from realtek. Realtek manager now shows driver version 5.10.06160.
